It lingers
The smell from my hands
It reminds me of the past couple days
Alone with you
My heart races everytime I touch my face or neck

The smell from my hands
It reminds me of that last night
Infront of your house
My heart raced and I was daring and you were willing

The smell from my hands
It reminds me of what I've lost
It lingers
Until I scrub the smell off and try to forget

And yet
It still lingers
