The second hand ticks away the minutes of my day.

Idol people take a short respite from the call room blues.

Iced Tea the drink of the day and the warmth of the sun, still a memory on my cheek. Other memories still hanging on in defiance of a new life.

The sun, the breeze, a kiss, another cheek....

the flush of smitten, the tingle of a broken heart, the burn of once bitten.

A reminder of a time gone by,

The anticipation of a new horizon.

A burn.

A bruize.

A flush.

A sting.

A the symptoms of life driving by.

Holding on to the confessions of a cheek.

Bideing my time till the next confession.

Good, bad or indifferent, waiting for another sign of life.

How much can your cheek tell you?

About life?

About you?

About the ones you care for?

Ask them.
