Maybe our hands could intertwine,

and maybe if the stars align,

Perfectly in the Summer sky,

You could look me in the eye,

And maybe take my other hand,

Or lay back with me in the sand.

We could get up and walk for miles,

Or simply sit with silly smiles;

For the convrsation would be the same.

We would ask each other why we came,

To this dark and peaceful place,

Then Maybe you could touch my face.

Surely that would make me melt,

The sweetest touch I ever felt.

Maybe then I'd kiss your lips,

Or just caress your fingertips.

I might rest upon your arm,

Feeling loved and safe and warm.

Then you could show me something new,

And afterwards when we were through,

Your hair could lay across my chest,

And both of us could finally rest.
