An image of a broken relationship.

The saddest sound that I ever heard
The pain hidden in her parting word
The saddest sight that I ever did see
The face in the mirror staring back at me
The saddest sound in the world
The goodbye kiss from the girl
The saddest time in my whole life
The moment she faded into the night
The saddest moment of all time
The losing all that I thought was mine
The saddest thought of all the year
The sudden flash of pain and fear
The saddest sound that came to me
The saying that she wanted to be free
The saddest sight that I ever did see
The eyes in the night looking back at me.
