The New Jersey Devils managed to get the two points the team needed last night, thanks to Miles Wood.

Wood scored the game winning goal at 17:02 of the second period.

The 2-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs last night helped New Jersey clinch a playoff berth.

 Pavel Zacha also scored a goal for New Jersey last night.

William nylander scored the lone goal for Toronto.

Devil's Patrick Maroon got two assists last night.

Despite the loss, Leaf's goalie, Frederik Andersen had a good performance in net.  He stopped 37 shots.

Devil's goalie, Keith Kinkaid, stopped 31 shots last night.

Toronto hosts the Montreal Canadiens tomorrow night.
