An article about Scott Hartnell's status with the Nashville Predators.

Scott Hartnell's, (Top), won't be a Predator next year.

Nashville Predator's general manager, David Poile announced today that the team has no plans to re-sign Scott Hartnell in the offseason.

This probably isn't a surprise to Predator fans.

In four playoff appearances, Hartnell was off the score sheet.

Furthermore, Hartnell did not play a huge amount of playoff games this year.

He played a single game against the Colorado Avalanche and just seven against the Winnipeg Jets.

His regular season statistics also weren't stellar.  He had just 13 goals and 11 assists this season.

Hartnell was Nashville's sixth overall pick in the 2000 Entry Draft.

In 1,249 career games, Hartnell has 327 goals and 380 assists.
