The Winnipeg Jets definitely made up for that 6-2 fiasco on Thursday against the Chicago Blackhawks when the team defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs last night 3-1.
All the scoring happened in the second period.
No scoring in the first period and no scoring in the third period.
First, Patrick Marleau scored for the Leafs at 2:02.
Josh Morrissey tied the game at 8:30 and it was all Jets from there.
Over a minute later, Dustin Byfuglien put the Jets ahead 2-1.
Finally, Andrew Copp scored at 17:34.
Toronto hosts the Buffalo Sabres tomorrow night.
