A recap of last night's Toronto/Tampa Bay game


Brayden Point scored the winner in last night's shoot out.

 

The Toronto Maple Leafs ran out of luck last night as the Tampa Lightning won 4-3 in a shoot out.

Just 1:41 into the game, Chris Kunitz put the Lightning ahead 1-0.

James Van Riemsdyk tied the game at 8:49 of the first period.

The Leafs went ahead 2-1 when Mitch Marner scored his 17th goal of the season.

Tampa went ahead 3-2 with goals by Tyler Johnson and Adam Erne.

Tyler Bozak tied the game at 5:27 of the third period.

Nothing happened in overtime.  The game went to a shoot out.

Lightning's Brayden Point scored the winner in the shoot out.

Toronto's Morgan Rielly got two assists.

Despite the loss, Leaf's goalie, Frederik Andersen, was amazing in net last night, stopping 39 shots.

The Leafs take on the florida Panthers tonight.
