Mitch Marner got five points last night.

 

What a night for Mitch Marner.

Marner racked up five points, (two goals, three assists) last night in a 6-3 Toronto Maple Leaf's win over the Ottawa Senators.

Marner opened the scoring at 1:55 of the first period.

He, (Marner), scored again at 11:30 of the same period.

Auston Matthews scored Toronto's second goal of the game at 9:35 of the, (first), period.

Ottawa got on the scoreboard at 8:32 of the second period with a goal by Johnny Oduya.

James Van Riemdyk made it 4-1 Leafs at 13:51 of the second period.

Just 45 seconds into the third period, Derick Brassard closed the gap at 4-2.

Over two minutes later, Nazem Kadri put the Leafs ahead by three goals again.

Ryan Dzingel made it 5-3 at 13:32.

Patrick Marleau put the game on ice with an empty netter at 18:38.

Ottawa's Mark Stone had two assists last night.

Marleau finished the night with three points.

Toronto faces the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow night.
