Henik and Daniel Sedin, (Above) at a press conference yesterday announcing their upcoming retirement.
It is an end of an era for the Vancouver Canucks.
After the 2017-18 season that is.
Yes, Henrik and Daniel Sedin announced yesterday in a prees coference that they're retiring from professional hockey after this year.
The twins, 37, were second and third overall in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
The Sedins have played their entire career with Vancouver.
Henrik has 1,068 points, (sixth among active players), in 1,327 games. 828 of the points are assists.
As for his brother, Daniel, he has 1,038 points, (seventh among active players), in 1,303 games. 391 of the points are goals.
Henrik won the Hart Trophy, (given to the league's Most Valuable Player), in 2009-10.
Both Henrik and Daniel won the Art Ross Trophy.
Their contracts expire at the end of this season.
