BIRMINGHAM

FROM A PLACE WHERE NOW NO ONE CAN SEE

FROM A PLACE WHERE FACE DOWN AFTER THE NOISE, USUALLY EQUALS A CRIME SCENE

FIRST 48 TENDS TO SHOW UP IN THIS CITY

SHOWING ALL THE BAD AND NOTHING PRETTY

FROM THE ENSLEY STREET AVENUE I TO THE LEGION FIELD

CITIES IN BETWEEN THAT USED TO BE FILLED

ROLL TIDE SYMBOLS SPRAYED ON CARS

WAR EAGLE CHANTS HEARD FROM AFAR.

FROM A CITY WHERE THE VULCAN STANDS SAYING WE CAN

THE CITY WHERE I AM FROM IS CALLED BIRMINGHAM
