The purple sky glittered as clouds floated by.

The clouds continued to float by, each representing something beautiful.

Mable smiled at the sky, straightening out her formal dress with her soft hands.

"Felix, why must people ignore the beauty of our world?" Mable asked her cat, stroking his black fur delicately.

The cat meowed and snuggled closer to Mable, and she sighed.

"Felix, why must death be such a fragile subject?" Mable asked again, looking deep into the yellow eyes of Felix.

Suddenly, Felix hissed and arched his back as a young man came into view, walking through the field of flowers and crushing them without a second thought.

"Hello Mable." the man said, and Mable stood and smiled.

"Hello good sir. What is your name?" she asked sweetly, and the man smiled.

"Surely you must know my name, Mable." he answered, and she tilted her head.

"Must you tease me so, sir?" she asked him, grabbing his hand. "Please come with me. I have something I must show you."

The man nodded and Mable started to lead him through the field, careful not to step on any of the beautiful flowers.

The man just crushed each rose, daisy or pansy as the sky seemed to darken with his every step.

After what seemed like forever of leading the man through the field and forest, Mable stopped in the middle of a small circle of grass.

The circle of grass was completely out of place, as the man had turned the rest of the beautiful grass to dirt and nothingness.

Mable frowned and looked around, locks of her golden hair falling forward as she stared up at the man.

"What is the matter, dear?" the man asked, and she clenched her fists.

"You ruined my world." she told him quietly, pulling out the long knife hidden in the back of her dress.

"Why Mable, whatever do you mean?" he asked, sounding quite worried as she approached him slowly.

"Do not take another step!" she screamed as the grass started turning to nothing as he stepped back.

He froze and stared at her in fear and confusion as she continued to walk forward until their chests were touching.

"Mable, whatever have I done to upset you?" he asked, and she glared at him.

With that she stabbed him in the chest, twisting the knife cruelly as he gasped, falling to his knees.

"Mable!" he gasped, and she smiled down at him as he stared up at her in shock.

Suddenly his expression changed as his eyes turned black and his truly evil side was seen.

"Whatever will you do with your life now, dearest?" he asked her evilly, pulling out the knife and dropping it on the ground as Mable picked it up again.

She sighed and licked the blood from the knife, looking up at the sky.

"Here I am, living in this beautiful world ridded of all evil, and the really hilarious thing is that I have no idea what I shall do with my life." she told him simply, stabbing herself in the chest.

"Mary, have a look at this!" Mable told Mary excitedly as Mary followed Mable and gasped.

"Look at the beautiful purple skies, the words of happiness drifting through the sky!" Mary gasped, and Mable smiled. Mary could only just see her pearly white teeth and haunting smile due to her foggy figure.

"Dearest Mary, you must take care of this world. Take care of Felix and, most of all, you must rid this world of any evil threatening to invade. Do you promise?" Mable asked, holding out her pinky seriously.

Mary linked her pinky finger with hers and smiled up at her best friend.

"I promise, Mable. I promise."
