or "Perfection", for you boring people. I just thought it was a catchy title. The first two lines have been stuck in my mind for quite a while now, about time I wrote the rest.

Inspired by my mom worrying way too much about my grades. Disappointed in my B, though the rest are A's. >.>

Poor turtle, everybody expecting so much of it. It can't do everything, you know.

Perfection looks so pleasing
to the discerning eye
yet who would, to a turtle
"You move not fast enough,
nor can you fly."

And yet the creature, perfect
has nothing left to gain
no trace of goals or flaws remains
to live, then, meaningless
unchanging, plain.
