A song about the burden my writing puts on me...

I can paint a vivid picture
With a few simple words
An indistinguishable mixture
Of things that had occured
A simple phrase a sentence
That drags a memory to mind
And old loves, flings and tensions
Are far too easy to find

So ill get out my paintbrush
And my old mixing pad
And ill paint a vivid headrush
Of sometime I once had
The memory becomes jagged
Lost and frozen in parody
Coz I no longer have it
I burnt it up inside of me

And my paintbrush is weighted
Its chained to my heart
Its the reason that I am fated
To keep on falling apart
To keep burning echoes
Until ive not got any left
To keep looking in windows
Until I can finally rest

So ill get out my paintbrush
And my old mixing pad
And ill paint a vivid headrush
Of sometime I once had
The memory becomes jagged
Lost and frozen in parody
Coz I no longer have it
I burnt it up inside of me
