No matter what I do

It will never be good enough for you

I can give you my hands and feet

But you’ll scorn its bloody packaging – not neat

I can toil and sweat till my shirt is drenched

But all you do is yank my arm like a wrench

Looking for more, and if I have no more to give

You’d rip off my arm till all my blood spills out and I no longer live

You are the most selfish person I know

And this person represents many, both prudes and ho’s

Don’t get pissed, wear the shoe if it fits

Stand there and take these verbal hits

I don’t care what you think, I stress that often

It’s true the sword is weaker than the pen

And when I’m dead these words will continue to stand

Like a stiff middle finger that I can’t bend down on both my hands
