To an old friend.
Our love didn’t end.
You used to live near me,
And now you I know longer see.

You once again entered my mind,
So I never left you behind.
So I called you
To see how you do.

You were so surprised,
Because our communication was compromised.
We haven’t talked for more than a year,
Yet we hold each other dear.

You now live in Addison.
To you I want to run.
Just say the word.
You mean the world!
