I always prefered tall guys
And I don't change my ways
But I guess love takes it's own route
Which I always considered to be rude
When I first met him, I thought what a jerk
He was so arrogent and his words hurt
But slowly I began to find it extreamly attractive
And it wasn't longg before he held my heart captive
He was not tall, just five foot three
His hair long, straight and spiky
His stare makes me shy, while
His smile makes me smile
Knowing him, I knew how wrong I was
He wasn't arrogent, neither hurtful
Outside he was being cautious
But inside he was soft sweet and joyful
There is just no way to know if we share the same feelings
And I'm certainly not ready to end our friendly meetings
I'm the one who wants a closer relationship
But I definietly don't want to it to cost outr friendship

the cost of love can be very expensive, he is probably putting up a defence so as not to get hurt, and you are trying to push forward to a closer relationship, you both need to sit down and talk this out.
