Moved out
By: Hanna Compiano

I could call it being kicked out

Or I could call it rejection

or replacement.

Either way, it hurts.

And no matter what,

I can't tell anyone

how I feel.

I no longer sleep in my bed,

that's her kids room.

Second room I've been kicked out of.

Or rejected from.

Or replaced with.

Either way,

it still hurts.

It hurt the first time

when I got the news.

It hurt again

when I got the news. again.

He said they were leaving

gone.

never coming back to our house

to stay.

But why is their stuff

here again.

Why do you give me

false hope?

If I cry to you,

you tell me to "cry me a river"

If I hold it in

you call it sulking.

If I don't feel anything

you ask too many questions,

and you remind me about all I

was trying to forget.

and I cry.

again.

Will I ever please you,

or will you just replace me?
