What do you see in the darkness? A free-write poem written by me.

The Darkness Beside You

The darkness surrounds you;

A world with no color.

Beauty has been destroyed.

The world with color is far away
,
In isolation where evil can not enter.

Curiosity spurs your action.

You try to escape the land with no color

But you fail, you are too small to enter the realm of space.

You hear a noise and try to escape

They are going to attack;

Black unicorns with red eyes

Filled with rage come upon you.

A shield of butterflies come to aid

Your life is spared.

For you are a member of the Deserted;

A human soul in the body of another object.

Covered in fur of illustrious color,

You are protected, but never see the light in this nightmare.

pessimistic and, in some parts, completely irrelevant. Try organizing your thoughts so the reader doesn‘t see your work as a random jumble of words :).

I see. I think that's just the way I write but I'll try looking it over again. Thanks :D
