This is a little poem I wrote up about one of my favourite memories (December 15, 2011 (yes, only a few days ago)). It was the best night ever, and I never want to forget it. I wrote this down to help remember. Anyhoo, I hope you like it.

There are some things that can never be expressed in words

They are moments that are so perfect

You just never ever want them to end

Some times they are just so amazing

They fill your stomach with butterflies

And make you feel on top of the world

It can be that one magic moment

It can be with someone you are close to

It can change your life

It can just be so simply splendiferous

That you never want it to end

That you never want to forget it

For me, that magic moment happened in a magical place

The Nutcracker Ballet was in town

The Junior Band went to watch it

During the Intermission, people we bugging him

He was definately getting fed up with them

There were only two things he could do

Ignore them or agree with them

He chose to agree

Or, at least, that's my impression of it

It happened during the 2nd half of the ballet

About 5 minutes in he reached up

His arm wrapped around my shoulders

His unexpected move made me jump

It filled my stomach with butterflies

I felt the hot blush creep into my face

People were whispering about us

But I didn't care

For me, that was pure magic

I wished it would never end

It did eventually

But first, we sat like that for a while

Almost a whole hour

Then the show ended and we stood up to applaud

The people around us where smiling, nudging, and whispering

I felt myself blush slighty

But I felt like I was in heaven

There is nothing compared to that night

It was so recent, but seems so long ago

I wish it would have never ended

But, alas, all good things come to an end

That was a night i will never forget

I have picture to prove it

They don't exactly tell the whole story

But they remind me of what happened

How I felt

I will never, ever, let go of that night ?
