A A A

I want the edges to melt.
Your hair stacked with curls
To fall on me.
Kisses to implode on my skin
And spread through me tingling.

I want to see your laughing eyes
At the beginning of sunrise.
To feel truth and beauty
And the warmth
Between your thighs.

I want to feed you lines of songs,
Hear you sing along:
“Your head upon the pillow
Like a
Sleepy golden storm.”

I want to look at you close up,
Feel our eyes almost touch.
Trace with my finger
Your spine;
Make your skin shine.

I want the edges to melt.
To feel heartfelt,
Just something for myself
And you,
Just something with you.
