My photography :)

What do I do now?

She wonders to herself while distractingly mixing her coffee. She went to Tim Horton’s everyday for her morning coffee; only this time she hasn’t the mind to enjoy it.

Did I make a mistake? Did I just throw away my only chance at happiness?

She remembers the broken look in his eyes when she told him she didn’t love him anymore.

“I feel like I’m stuck. Like the world just stopped.” He had told her. “What am I going to do? You were my whole life, the only person I could seriously talk to.”

When he had said that it had only made her cry even more. The truth is she still loved, and would always love him in a way; just not in the same way she did before.

What if this is just a phase? What if in a week, or even a month thing’s would have gotten back to normal?

“What do you want?” She had asked him through falling tears.

“I want you to love me again.” He told her through tears of his own.

But she couldn’t tell him she loved him. She really wasn’t sure if she did or not…it is what she would call being confused. She wasn’t sure if things would ever be the same and she couldn’t go on living a lie. If you could even call it that.

That’s the thing about being confused—you don’t exactly know what you want or how you feel.

She sits there alone still remembering what had only happened days ago. She couldn’t remember what had brought on this confusion. Everything had been so out of whack lately. I mean, parents separating, her younger sister leaving the house. All the drama that surrounded her had taken its toll. She couldn’t even stand her friends let alone her boyfriend.

But he had always been there for her, like she’d been for him.

Maybe if she just would have talked about stuff with him, maybe if she’d just opened up to him she wouldn’t be confused right now.

In the end it all came down to everything being her fault really. I mean, she broke his heart, she was the one who hadn’t opened up to him; she made herself confused.

She sighs as she gets up to throw out her coffee and leave the shop.

I’ve got to get out of here.

She did it again; she pictured his broken face at that moment. Hers probably looked just as broken.

“I love you. I will always love you.” She could almost hear him whisper those words to him.

“I love you.” She whispered out into the empty air.

BEEEEEEEEEPPPPP!

She falls hard on the ground, the bus barely missing her by an inch. She couldn’t believe how close she had just come to death. She immediately thought of the old saying “You’ll see your life flash before your eyes.” But she hadn’t seen that.

The only thing she saw was him; was his face.

“Are you okay?” A familiar broken voice asks from behind her.

She doesn’t waste a moment before turning around to hug and kiss him passionately before he even knew what was going on.

“I’m sorry.” She whispered to him. “I love you. I will always love you.”

Alternate Ending

She sighs as she gets up to throw out her coffee and leave the shop.

I’ve got to get out of here.

She did it again; she pictured his broken face at that moment. She had to learn to get him out of her head. Feeling bad for him wouldn’t help her situation.

BEEEEEEEEEPPPPP!

She falls hard on the ground, the bus barely missing her by an inch. She couldn’t believe how close she had just come to death. She immediately thought of the old saying “You’ll see your life flash before your eyes.” But she hadn’t seen that.

Instead she saw all the things she would have missed out on. School, Traveling, Family, Love. She realized at that moment that she would waste no more time. It was now or never and that was it.

“Are you okay?” An unfamiliar voice asks from behind her.

She turns around slowly before allowing the handsome stranger helps her to her feet.

“Yeah, I’m fine.” She answers and he gives a little laugh before outstretching his hand.

“Well good. My name is Edward, Edward Villeneuve.”

“I’m Krystal Cotnam, nice to meet you.”

New beginnings were around every corner.
