When no one seems to understand just know that its what you know about yourself that counts

They don’t understand,

They’re unable to comprehend.

They’re not going to look beyond my face,

With their stubbornness.

Blinded be the fact

So they don’t see,

It’s their own bias and stupidity

Keeping them from accepting what’s real.

But I know me

And they don’t come close.

I know obstinately,

I know the truth about me.

It’s the way they think,

But stupid fools that they are

Unaware that they’re in the dark.

Feigning confidence in themselves,

Fighting the wavering inside.

It’s what’s in their minds

That hides the fact in the dark.

But I’ll stop trying to make them see,

‘Cause I know obstinately,

That I know me!
