You open the bottle to open your mind,

Look all over for things you can't find,

Act so scared with tears you can't hold,

The school bully had your life in control.

So you turn to the pipe and burn all your fears,

You try to open your eyes but can't choke down the tears,

The bedroom door becomes your bestfriend,

You try to open up but nobody comprehends.

So you run and you run to escape your past ties,

Sweep up the pathway with a broom made of lies,

Push the needle in and your eyes open wide,

You search and you search but there's no place to hide.

So as you look back at the places you've been,

You blame it all on the situation you were in,

Scream to the world you'll never use again,

But there's a corkscrew on the ground right next to your best friend...
