There's a beauty in the breakdown,
warped pleasure from the pain,
you don't know how I got here,
your life was not the same.

You tell me life is easy,
but I never found it so,
the things I've seen and heard and felt,
you will never know.

So go ahead and judge me,
tell me that I'm wrong,
feed me your poison,
tell me I don't belong.

Everytime I get back up,
and I wonder how I do,
the strength I've found within,
it didn't come from you.

I can relish in the darkness,
you can see it in my eyes,
it's my personal asylum,
you wasn't here for my demise.

Give me all you've got,
destroy me if you please,
I will not let my identity,
be tainted by your disease.

I'll revel in the breakdown,
the emotions make me real,
if all this taught me anything,
it's knowing how to feel.
