They came, they saw, they conquered

They took it, they left it behind, they destroyed it

They changed the face of the earth

They changed the lives of man

They changed the book of the word

Man was a thing to be toyed with

They took lives before they were given birth

Only their laws and rules would stand

They came to bring peace at first

The health of man came second

Replenishing of the planet came third

Man did not hunger or thirst

It was as if he were living in heaven

News spread as if on the wings of a bird

A book these visitors carried around

and as each page was studied and turned

man became happy when he had found

that the title said Serving Man it was learned.

Soon a trip to their world had been planned

and only the fittest of man would go

They held parades and parties across the land

Circuses and carnivals, radio and television show

Soon a wife cried to her husband,

Please I beg of you to stay”

She grabbed and pulled and yanked on his hand

and yelled out loud, “I have something to say!”

The few people that heard her turned to look as well

"Serving Man is a cook book, everybody run like hell!”
