How strong is your holding on from holding out for so long?
And how much strength do you still have, that’s dwindling down to something sad?
Can you tell me so?
And does it show?
By the tears on your face that flow down to that place that’s lost on the floor.
Where those fears that your faith let you drown without grace leading you far away from the shore.
Your world was the best, til it became your worst
When a soul loved you less and you felt that you were cursed.
You fled your Garden of Eden for a way beyond
Where life would be rough but it has to go on.
How strong is your holding on from holding out for so long?
And how much strength do you still have that’s dwindling down to something sad?
Can you tell me so?
And does it show?
By the tears on your face that flow down to that place that’s lost on the floor.
Where those fears that your faith let you drown without grace leading you far away from the shore.
