Lord, forgive us once again,

you'd think that I was the Devil's friend,

for I am weak,

and I'm not as strong as you.

When I want to keep it on the track,

there's a roadblock ahead and it turns me back,

so I lose,

even though I really want to win.

Lord, I don't have the staff of Moses,

and I don't have Samson's hair,

and I don't have the slingshot of David,

to toss that pebble in the air.

I just need you.

Lord, I read once again,

how you beat the Devil in the end,

for you're not weak,

and he's not as strong as you.

When we want to keep it on the track,

you're right up ahead, and you have our back,

so I choose,

the one who will help us win.

Lord, we don't need the staff of Moses,

and we don't need Samson's hair,

and we don't need the slingshot of David,

to toss that pebble in the air.

We just need you.

Lord, forgive us once again...
