Paint me some dreams

in lots of colors

Not just in black and white

Paint me some dreams

in lots of colors

And I'll dream them

all tonight.

Purple mountains majesty

and amber waves of grain

A deep blue oceans tapestry

and a rainbow after the rain.

Lilies in the valley

and clover in the field

A garden in an alley

and fruit trees when they yield.

Creatures of the jungle

and birds of the air

Crayons in a bundle

and candy at a fair.

Leaves in the fall

and the neon city lights

Farms big and small

and fireworks at night.

Paint me some dreams

in lots of colors

Not just in black and white

Paint me some dreams

in lots of colors

And I'll dream them

all tonight.
