While I'm at it, I'm going to make up for some lost posting time! I wrote this short poem while watching the live BluRay of Phantom of the Opera. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for some excellent poetic inspiration! Anyway, it's just short, but I wanted to post it. (:

This is for he who knows who he is.

I hear your words whispered in the wind

As fall leaves swirl about my head

The silvery soft sounds soothe my mind

While your absence leaves me dead…

I swear at night I feel you standing next to me

Feel your breath creep down my spine

But every time I turn around to see

There’s no hand holding mine.

As long as it worked and my fan and friend liked it, that's what counts. :) Thank you for reading and commenting!

This one really worked too. There's a good amount of power packed into the words you chose that more than makes up for the fact that it is rather short. I'm glad I finally read it!

Wow! The more I read of other peoples' experiences, the more I know that none of us are alone in what we live through...
