Well, well, well. Bet you didn't expect to see me in here again! Aha! Well, I have returned. Here is a piece I woke up in the dead of night and scrawled out. It wasn't originally meant to make it here, but somehow everything, all the ugly feelings and knotted emotions, seem to calm down and fade slightly when I can put what I'm feeling out here. Here is a piece I wrote out of emotion; I will let it speak for itself.

Strolling alone through the night

Caught by the sounds and places of times past

Frozen in a moment lost in time and space

I see your doll's-heart in your pale face.

Twin pianos playing in the dead of dark

Dissonance shattering the twilight

If the soul is seen within the eyes

Yours is made of darkened glass and lies.

Sitting lonely beside our ghosts

Watching history in the lake's mirror

I hold your cold hand which is mine to take

And hope that under my pressure it will not break.

Kicking around inside your memories like a poltergeist  Making noise and hitting round so you might remember me You live in the broken mind of my bruised heart And remind me of my mistakes that keep us apart.

I lay under a starless, spacious sky to wonder where the light is gone And I feel the lifeless cold ground fall away beneath me Leaving me surrounded by the times and people I have been And, last, I reach for you, my disappeared Porcelain.
