As a personal disclaimer, this is merely a reflection, not an indication of current or past events. I've been through a few highs chased by a dozen lows lately, and this is what I felt like writing at one thirty in the morning. Pardon me again for the sporadic writing. Drowning in the mascara dripping down my cheeks

Haven’t seen the light for what feels like weeks

I never thought hell could be cold

Never dreamed that a soul could be sold

Alone in the corner, I’m always in the dark

Look again, because every word leaves a mark

The glint of stained silver teases and whimpers in my ear

Saying it’s too late: my deepest fear

I’ll surrender and let the dark pull me outside in

But my cloud-cast iron will is wearing thin

Though my heart and my soul bleed in ink

My eyes and my skin bleed in pink.
