Why, hello there! Long time no see, right? Well, I'm posting, albeit sporadically. This is something I just wrote quickly, in a fit of emotion. I really wanted to share it.

I wake up in the morning

Alone.

I fall asleep at night

Alone.

I live my days in mourning

Waiting for this cold world to atone.

I listen to the lovers talk, whispering sweet words

And I watch them holding hands, sharing their two worlds.

It kills me nice and slow, it burns dark and sweet,

I’m waiting for the moment our two lips will meet.

The flowers are in bloom

Sad.

The wind is soft and warm

Sad.

I sit myself in my room

And wish I didn’t feel so bad.

I worry and I wait, wondering where you are tonight

My heart is growing weary from its never-ending fight.

Sometimes the sickening sorrow goes and stabs me through

So, I guess I’ll settle for a simple dream of you.
