This is my response to my emotions. I am attempting not to kill each and every person I know. Some are angry and deprecating, others and angry because I am "in love", others are merely angry at themselves and pushing it on me. Whatever the case, my heart can barely stand this. I think it may shatter into small pieces soon.

I can't hold it in

Your grimacing grin

Makes me want to SCREAM and SHOUT

But I can't let it out

You're pushing me back

I can't even say that

My soul is on fire

Used to burn with desire

Now it sparks with the flame

Of hurt at hearing your name

My heart rips in two

I think you've gotten me confused with you

Tangled up somewhere

I'm struggling in your snare

Let me out before I die

Uncut my skin before I cry

Leave my ashes and my dust

In the pile of broken trust

Walk again down the trail

My good intentions always fail

Trip and fall on the path

Beat me down again with your scalding wrath

There's no yellow brick road on which to stay

When you're going to hell my way.
