Death seems to follow Amelia around, can she break the cycle and keep the ones around her safe, or has her time finally ran out.

Chapter 1
Greg and Amelia walked down the street holding hand Amelia could not believe she was now engaged to her high school sweetheart. He had proposed earlier in the night right before the movie started. She knew that her parents would not understand. She was so happy looking at her ring as they walked that she did not see the man in front of them till he was already on top of them.

"Nice night for a bar b que." He said holding a bottle in his hand. "Excuse me Greg said confused." Before another word was spoken the man lit his bottle on fire and smashed it on too if Greg's head. In mere seconds he was engulfed in flames. All Amelia was could do was scream and watched as her fiancé burned alive in front of her. She fell to her knees waiting for death but nothing came. When she looked up she saw that the attacker had left. It did not talk long for someone to notice the fire and come running out. Amelia was screaming at the top of her lungs. This could not be happening.Chapter 2
Three years had passed since that fateful night and the police still had not caught the man responsible. Amelia was finally starting to sleep through the night. She still lived at home while she went to collage. This was second year.
"You want to go out this weekend." Caitlin asked. The two had become close friends soon after she started collage. Unlike Amelia Caitlin lived on campus and even tried to convince her friend to move on with her but Amelia was not ready to leave the nest yet. Her parents were very supportive of her choice to stay home. Amelia did not tell Caitlin about Greg, in fact she had not told "Yes you do, you are drinking way to slow." Caitlin responded and they both laughed. By ten thirty everyone at the party was feeling good. Caitlin knew that there would be a lot of passed out bodies in the morning.
"So how is your party going do far?" Devon asked. Caitlin was already drunk and they both knew it. Before Caitlin could respond something smashed through one of the windows. By the sound of it, it was the kitchen window.
"It was going great until some drunken idiot broke my window." She said heading for the stairs. The screams that came after the window breaking told both Caitlin and Devon that it was more than just some random accident. People were running for the door as they reached the bottom of the stairs.anyone about what had happened that night.

"That's sounds like a good idea. I could use a break." Amelia

Chapter3
The music was blasting and half the club was dancing. Amelia was part of the half that was not while Caitlin was the opposite. It was hard to keep her off the dance floor.
"Can I get two Long Island ice teas?" Amelia said to the bartender. This was her second drink and she was already feeling good. After getting the drinks she headed back to the table. Caitlin was not far behind.
"How did you know I was ready for another round ." She joked as she grabbed one of the teas. Even though both girls were only twenty they both managed to get in the club with their fake ids. "Are you ladies here alone." A couple of guys asked as they walked up to the girls table. Neither one was bad looking.
"Not anymore." Caitlin said stepping closer to the tallest one. His sky blue eyes lit up as she moved next to him.
"My name is Caitlin and this is my friend Amelia." Caitlin said.
" I'm Devon and this is Patrick." Devon said pointing to his friend. Patrick seemed to have more of a hard edge about. Amelia was not sure what it was but something about him excited her. Without another word Caitlin pulled Devon onto the dance floor leaving what was left of her drink. Not that he gave much resistance."Sorry if I do not say much it has not been a good day today." He finally said as he sat down across from Amelia. She just nodded and smiled, the truth was she was not really in much if a talking mood anyway. They sat in silence until Caitlin and Devon came back with fresh drinks.
"You two look like you could use some drinks." Devon said as he handed the two if them there drinks. " Caitlin did not say anything. She was too busy with her drink . As Amelia was about to a drink she heard someone at the front if the bar start screaming. Then everyone was screaming "You two look like you could use some drinks." Devon said as he handed the two if them there drinks. " Caitlin did not say anything. She was too busy with her drink . As Amelia was about to a drink she heard someone at the front if the bar start screaming. Then everyone was screaming and running towards the back of the club. It did not take long for Amelia to see what had happened. Someone started a fire at the front of the bar . She could see someone laying on the ground already burnt to a crisp. She did not see the hooded figure but knew that he was still in the building. She followed the rest of the crowd toward the exit at the back of the bar. In the panic she lost everyone she was with. As she went through the door a cool breeze hit her face.
"Amelia, over here." Caitlin called she was still standing with Devon. A large crowd was forming at the back if the bar from everyone leaving. The sirens could be heard in the distance. Chapter 4
"Amelia you have to snap out if it." What happened at the bar is not your fault." Caitlin said consoling her friend. Since the night at the bar Amelia had not left the house not even to go to school.
"I know it's not my fault but seeing what was left of that guy brought everything back." She sobbed into Caitlin's shoulder. Her parents had tried to talk to her but where not very good when it came to talking."I know this is a bad time but seven and Patrick asked if we wanted to go out tomorrow night." Caitlin said. She patted Amelia's should for a few more minutes and then got up. As much as she wanted to stay wit her friend she had to be at work in forty five minted and she still needed a shower. Amelia watched as her friend left without a goodbye.
Part of her hated Caitlin for even mentioning going out but at the same time she did want to see Patrick again. She had not dated anyone since that tragic night. It was time for her to get her life back together despite what happened the other day she could not keep hiding from life. She picked up her phone and sent Caitlin a text saying that she would go out.Chapter 5
Jasmine pulled her coat off and hung it on a hook by the door. She had a lot of things to do. There was a bare bulb that hung overhead giving what little light she needed. She did all of her work out of a basement under a small corner store. She owned the store but did not work there. She hired high school kids to run it. When she was in high school she had work at the store as a clerk. When she graduated her parents bought it for her as a graduation present. Soon after both if her parents died if a mysterious fire. The police were never able to make an arrest but in the end it was determined to be arson. They never even had any real suspects. She inherited there house and everything in it. It was not much but it was a nice start for someone straight out of high school. Jasmine walked over to a cabinet on the back walk. It was about four foot wide and went
all the way to the six foot ceiling. It was a metal cabinet with three locks on it. There was one on the bottom. One on the top and one in the middle. In the middle of the room was a large wooden table where she did all of her mixing. Jasmine pulled a set of keys out if her pocket and opened the locks. She needed to make some more fuel. She knew that soon she would need more supplies. She grabbed several glass jars off of different shelves and headed to her table. None of the jars were labels but by the color she knew what was in each one. She needed to change up her recipe a bit cause the fires were being out a little bit too easily.

Chapter 6 "I'm glad you made it tonight." Patrick said as Amelia got in the car. Part of her was still not sure this was a good idea. She smiled but did not say anything as she slid in the back seat next to Patrick. Caitlin and Devon were in the front seat. She had been hoping that Caitlin would have picked her up first. Turns out she was wrong. Since Amelia had been the reluctant one they all agreed to let her decide where to go tonight.
"How about we go to the pool hall. The one we used to go to." She said. Caitlin did not really like going there it was dirty, smelly and had the wrong crowd. It had been a long while since she had been there do hopefully it was better now. Caitlin turned and headed toward the pool hall.  "So how have you been?" Patrick asked. He inched his hand closer and closer to Amelia's leg and she kept inching closer to the door. The rest of the drive was in silence. Luckily it was not too long the pool hall was not far from where they were.
"Wow, this place has changed a lot by the looks of it." Caitlin said as she pulled into the parking lot. The place looked packed. It was also a lot cleaner than she had ever seen it before.
"I heard there was a new manager. That has cleaned the place up. They even managed to get rid off the drug dealers hanging around." Amelia said opening her car door. By this point Patrick had gotten the hint and backed off from trying to touch her. She felt bad but was not about to tell him that. Everyone headed inside. Patrick stayed at the back of the group. The front door were oak and brand new. The smell if smoke could not be smelled in the place at all.  Amelia was more impressed by the changes inside than out. Everything was clean. There was a new wood floor that shined. She did not see any if the usual people she had expected to see here.
"Hello, how are you today. Would you like a pool table or dart machine." A woman asked from behind a podium by the front door. The name I'm her shirt read Rachel. She looked like she was almost six foot tall. Light skinned and young.
"I think we are going to get a pool table” Devon said pulling out his wallet. He handed Rachel his license as Rachel have him a rack and some pool balls.
"The table by the back wall is free. Would you like to order some drinks and I can take them over." Said asked. "Can we get four bud lights and four jolly ranchers , I will start a tab." Patrick said giving Rachel his card. The four of them headed to there table.
"This place is really nice." Devon said to his friend as he racked the balls . The two of them were playing the first game off pool.
"How is everything going with you and Devon." Amelia asked. She had not talked to her friend much lately.
"It's going good do far but we are taking it slow. I'm not wanting to rush into anything."
Amelia smiled at what her friend was saying. She was glad that Caitlin was finally taking it slow. She usually fell for guys way hi fast.
Patrick is not a bad guy you really should give him a chance." Caitlin said.
"Babe it's your turn I won." Devon said as Patrick walked over to where the two girls were. As Caitlin was racking the balls the waitress came over within the drinks and set them on a table. Everyone walked over and picked up there shot.
"To good times." Amelia said and downed her drink. Everyone else followed suit . After the first shot everyone seemed to loosen up a bit.

Chapter 7
Jasmine looked around as she got out of her car . She wanted to make sure no one was looking. This would be her biggest burn yet. She put on her coat and pulled good over her face the time had come for the city to burn. Her coats had several bottle already prepped. All she needed to do was light them. There was a two story house where she parked the car. She knew that there was a family if four inside. A young husband and wife along with there two daughters, both only two years old . She pulled the first bottle out lit it and tossed it at the front door she threw a second bottle threw the second story window where all of the inhabitants slept. Before anyone came out the fire engulfed the front of the house. She quickly got back in her car and drove off. She did not mind if the saw the car driving off. It would not lead back to her anyway. The fire could still be seen a block away. She drove two more blocks before stopping the car again. This time she did not bother looking for anyone. She had her coat and hood on. No one would know who she was.  There was two single story houses that had just been remodeled. Both houses were occupied by single men. She walked to the driveway between the two houses and threw a bottle at the side of each house then with her last two bottles she threw them at parked cars in the street.
"Hey you don't move." Someone yelled from behind her. She was not sure who it was it if they had a weapon. She was not going to just give up however. She dashed as fast as she could to her car. She knew that who ever it was had bigger problems to deal with than her . The car started and she peeled off as several bullets tore threw the metal and also through her windshield. She did not bother looking to see if she was being followed. She needed to ditch the car either way. After driving a couple of blocks she turned off her lights and pulled I to an alley. Sirens could be heard in every.
direction. She took off her coat and climbed out of the car. She took the last Molotov cocktail off the passenger seat and lit it. She then smashed it on the roof of the car and ran off.

Chapter 8
A week had passed since Caitlin and Amelia had gone on there double date. Amelia and Patrick were talking now. Nothing was official but it looked like there were going to start dating soon.
"Have you seen the news lately ." She asked Patrick as they say on her bed. He kept trying to get her to come to his house but she was not ready yet.
"I do not really keep up with it why. What's been happening?" He asked.  "That guy starting the fires still has not been caught. Apparently he set several houses on fire the other night ten people were killed in the fires and several houses burned to the ground. They think it was the same guy from the bar."
"Really, to be honest I have not really kept up with it." Patrick was not sure what to say next. He really did not want to be talking about that but he also did not want to seem rude. Before Amelia could say anything else his phone went off. He already knew that it was his job. He was a plumber and he was on call today.
"I have to run. I will call you when I'm done maybe we can go out tonight." He said as he headed to the door.
"It's ok I need to catch up on my homework call me later thought." She said and gave him a hug good bye. She did not bother walking him to the door. She was not mad just distracted by the whole situation. She was happy with the way
things were going between them so far but she could not get the killer out of her head. She still had nightmares about the night her fiancé burned alive. Once she heard the front door open and close Amelia sat down at her desk and started reading one of her text books. She really did have a lot if catching up to do and not much time left to do it.

Chapter 9
Caitlin sat in her car waiting for Amelia to come out. It was just going to be the two of them hanging out at her house.
"How have you been?" Amelia asked as she got in the car.
"I'm doing good, you coming to my birthday next weekend it is going to be an awesome party. Been a while since I have thrown one." Caitlin said as she out her car into gear and headed to her house. Caitlin lived in a two story house with four room mates. The yard was very.
poorly maintained. As was the rest of the house . They rented the house do they did not put any extra money into it . It was a large house and had a huge backyard so it was the perfect place for a party.
"My roommates are all out if town so it will just be the two of us tonight . I was thinking about getting two kegs for my party but I an not sure if that is to much . What do you think?" Caitlin said as she pulled into the driveway.
" I think two kegs is plenty as long as you have liquor too. This was be one for the ages." The two girls headed inside . Caitlin had tried to get Amelia to be one of her room mates but was always refused. Amelia was not ready to leave the nest yet. Caitlin's room was upstairs. It was the only bedroom up stairs. It was also the biggest room in the house. The bigger room did cost her a little bit more in rent but to her it was well worth it. Despite being alone in the house
the two girls still headed to Caitlin's room.
"Do you know everyone that you will be inviting to the party?" Amelia asked. Caitlin nodded as she opened her door. She always kept it locked.
"You know me I will invite who ever wants to show up and have a good time. I want this to be my biggest party yet ." The girls laughed at the thought of some of there parties.

Chapter 9
Jasmine passed back and fourth. Almost two weeks had gone since she almost got shot. She was very happy with the end results, however she was not pleased by how close someone came to killing her. The police still had no idea who they were looking for. From what the news said they suspected a man. This amused her, no one ever thought that a woman was capable if doing such a thing. In a couple of days she had a party to crash and then she would take a much needed vacation. The store was doing well. She was not sure were she would go just that it was time to get away before she made a mistake. She knew that she needed to make some more fuel for the party. This was going to be a new formula. This was going to be her sixth formula so far, this would be the last one for a long while.
"How had business been so far today?” She asked Bonnie as she walked into the store. Bonnie usually worked mornings. She was also the best employee she had . Bonnie was her assistant manager.
"So far it has been good. " Bonnie responded and went back to making her order. Jasmine headed to the back of the store where the entrance was to her basement. As she headed down the stairs she wondered if she had everything she needed to make this new batch.

Shadows filled every corner. The floors were dirty by she did not care. This place was used for one thing and being was not important for what she needed. She headed to her cabinet and pulled out several bottles and took them to the table.

Chapter 10
"You want another beer?" Devon asked Caitlin as he finished off his.
Yes I'm ready go ahead and get everyone a drink and a shot." Amelia said handed him her cup. The music filled every room in the house. All of Caitlin's roommates were at the party.
"I am not ready for another drink yet." Amelia complained she had barely drank half of the first drink she had."Yes you do, you are drinking way to slow." Caitlin responded and they both laughed.
People were running for the door as they reached the bottom of the stairs. They could both smell the fire coming from the kitchen. Seconds later people could be heard screaming in the front yard. The fire from the kitchen was already starting to enter the living room. Both Caitlin and Devon ran for the bedroom at the back of the house. They did not want to go out the front way. The fire was closing in fast. As Devon went through the hallway door he closed it hoping to buy a few precious seconds.
"Where is Amelia and Patrick?" He yelled as they burst into the back bedroom and closed the door. "I'm not sure where they are the last time I saw them they were up stairs at this point there is nothing we can do for them if they are still up there. We need to get out if the house or be burned alive. " Caitlin said as she threw one of her friends computer chair out the window clearing a path for them. The room was filling with smoke. The flames could be seen crawling under the door. Caitlin climbed out the window followed by Devon. Sirens could be heard closing in. It would be too late for the house. The whole house was a blaze. Fire could be seen coming out of the roof and also the window that the two of them had just escaped from. "Looks like I've got two more to add to my little bonfire." Someone said from behind them. Caitlin and Devon turned to see a hooded figure behind them. She had a bottle in each hand.
"Why are you doing this." Caitlin pleaded.
"I just want to watch the world burn." The figure laughed. Devon lunged at the figure but was knocked out with a well placed round house kick . No one saw Amelia coming around the side of the house. Using the bushes she slowly made her way to where the figure was. It took every once of strength she had not to do the same thing Devon had do e and just rush her.
"Looks like your hero is not going to do you and good." She raised one of the now lit bottles and aimed it at Caitlin who was at second side trying to wake him up. It was not or never. Amelia rushed in and gave the hooded figure a round house of her own. It was not as good of a kick as Devon had received but it was enough to
nock her to the ground. The figure quickly got to her feet and ran into the burning house. Both bottles were dropped before entering the house.
