A man with no meaning

A man with no meaning walks silently on the streets

Being known by no one, being loved by none

A jacket hides the scars of his broken heart

That has no purpose any more

A man with no meaning is a ghost to himself

Floating along with the wind

He can’t make decisions or just won’t

Cause the life he once known is gone

A man with no meaning holds a glass bottle in his right hand

And in the left is his life slowing slipping out of his grip

He falls over both literally and mentally on the busy streets

No one stops for him, no one cares for him, no one is there for him

A man with no meaning is simple

Nothing is complex about him

He is empty, he is cold

But, he is still looking for hope
