A woman in a dream

I was in a chair when I saw her standing there.

A woman in a dream I saw upon the silver screen.

About her I think she looks good dressed all in pink.

A smile I saw there whilst sitting in my chair.

She had passion in her eyes that were blue as azure skies.

Her hair of spun gold was so beautiful to behold.

Poems I would write to prove my love was bold.

Just like a knight in romantic times of old.

Upon a pedestal I would place this dream.

Serving her breakfast of cookies and rich cream.

And tell her that I love her this woman in a dream.

Her every wish would be my desire.

For the gift of her virtue I would cast myself into fire.

I cast my gaze upon her looking through the flame.

I know now my life will never be the same.

This all went through my mind.

As I was sitting there.

A woman in a dream I saw upon the silver screen.
