~~Happy Thanksgiving~~

Twas the day before Turkey and all through the house not a creature was stirring they's drunk as a louse.......

the table was spread with dishes and glass, a Giant bedbug just bit my ass.

the decorations were boxed and sat by the fire, how I wish I had never joined that damned choir

Grand pa was snoring, dad was in bed, the game wasn't watched, the TV was dead

the kids were outside peeing in snow, man what I wouldn't give for some really good blow

when out in the yard there arose such a racket I grabbed my ball bat so I could go smack it

when what to my wandering eyes should appear but a gang war has started and filled me with fear.

with pistols and rifles they shot as they came, these local kids would never be tame

I drew in my head and was turning around, when in crashed a cruiser complete with Bloodhound

the cop that was driving was deader than dead, the dog was so hungry she grabbed my left leg

I spoke not a word but continued to twitch, I screamed in my head "someone kill this damn bitch!"

sighting a rifle as long as his leg a kid from outside shot me right through the head

standing there stunned as my head starts to drip, I found myself thinking “this is a really bad trip”

and I heard myself saying as things drifted from sight, “ thank you good Lord, it's been a hell of a night”
