I always thought you were the one,

The one I'd be with when the day was done.

Man was I wrong the night I walked in,

To see you in bed with another man.

I walked out with tears in my eyes,

Punching the wall as I plan for goodbye.

You ran out and said you made a mistake,

That since I've been gone you had a heartache.

I kept on walking to the barn where i stayed,

To try to let all the pain just drift away.

I couldn't think, so i went and got my gun,

Wishing that all this could be undone.

I went to my room and sat on my bed,

Raised the gun and aimed it at my head.

Started to cry as i thought about my life,

Pulled the trigger as i thought about my cheating wife.
