We are defeated my love, horridly defeated. But grant me just one more kiss in the rain. You know this has always been my kind of day.

You can't tell me you don't see this yet. My love for you isn't near over yet. Yet..and Yet..Yet you leave me like you never knew, never loved never cared.

I'm mad they say. I just throw my head back and laugh as I dance in the rain. The lightning flashes the thunder booms but you can't deny with you the memory of me will loom.

Dance with me! Dance with me! Watch the water gathering on our eyelashes and dampen what should be cool champaign glasses. Aw the untangible romance. Do you understand me yet? Do you understand me yet? All for naught. And yet everything becomes of it.

I'm glad you don't understand me. But consider this. Just have you escaped this madness you neglect to see how truly wonderful it is. For it is in this madness that I have loved more deeply, stood more confidently and understood so much.

One day you will meet me here. On this split rock out where noone else could ever understand. I'll be waiting there for you with a kiss in the pouring rain.

We are defeated my love, horridly defeated. But grant me just one more kiss in the rain. You know this has always been my kind of day.
