The taste of cigarettes still lingers on our lips
I can still feel your fingers on my hips
I still smell the polish you put on your guitar
And I  still hear your voice, regardless where you are

It's just a little tragic that I still think of you
On these cold winter nights, just looking at the view
From my window in the room upstairs
Still sleeping in the sheets I wish that we still shared.

I never washed that T shirt you left sitting on my bed
Still I hope you come back, I don't remember what was said
What left me all alone here, just putting back these pills
The only word I speak now, the only word is Still.

You left for California about five years ago
You found fame and money, and more girls to show
Am I still your only? Am I still your dear?
Is this just my wish, or is it still your fear?

Vegas just seems endless without your light cast on the streets
And still I can't believe that these tears can cut so deep
I still kept the note that you wrote the night you left
Still hoping you still love me, still hoping with my last breath.
