The blond boy watched his Danna carefully. Sasori looked over sullenly. "What are you looking at, brat?" Sasori sneered, recieving an angry expression from Deidara. "I'll tell you when I find out, un." Deidara scoffed. Sasori growled from low in his throat. "You are so childish, brat." Sasori mumbled, then got up and used the chakra threads emitting from his fingertips to move the puppet he was working on. "Well, get used to it, un. We have to find this stupid Jinchuriki before we can go back to the hideout." Deidara said, smiling at his hand-mouths. When the clay emerged, he squeezed his hand tightly shut and when he opened it, a small bird stood perfectly in the middle of his hand. The sculptor watched as his clay bird flew a few feet above the two partners. "Deidara," Sasori hissed. "can you please stop fooling around. I do not like to be waiting." The blond rolled his eyes and said, "Katsu." He snickered as his bird exploded and he reached for his Akatsuki cloak. "Brat, why do you insist on making us late?" Sasori questioned, glaring at the boy that walked beside him. "Because you, un, make me despise you. I do not like being rushed." Deidara stated, matter-of-factly. Sasori felt something inside of him move. Despise? He thought. Why would someone like Deidara waste his time despising me? Sasori inwardly shrugged and growled again. He could never let anyone know, the Akatsuki or Deidara, how he really felt about his partner. Deidara glanced over at his Danna quickly. A small blush covered his cheekbones as he glanced away when Sasori looked up.  "Stop worrying about me and focus, you stupid brat!" Sasori said viciously. Inwardly, this killed Sasori, treating his partner like this. "Can you not call me brat, Danna, un?!" Deidara asked, stopping. Tears started to well up in his eyes. "I have a name, you know." Deidara stated. Sasori looked to his partner. "I guess I just do not care enough for you to say your real name." Sasori sighed, looking away from Deidara. He heard Deidara sniffle, but ignored it. Time and time again, the brat had made him do things like this. The feelings inside the redhead were unmistakable. He really liked the blond headed boy, who could be no older than nineteen. Damn this puppet body! Sasori thought, wanting to turn around and run straight to the other boy and tell him what his true feelings were. But the redhead couldn't do that to Deidara. He was sure that the other didn't feel the same way about him. Lost in his thought, he didn't notice how close they were to the hideout. The redhead felt his partner push past him. His stance and the way he ignored everything people said made it obvious that he was still frustrated over what the puppeteer had said. Sasori shook his head as he made his way to the room that he shared with Deidara.
When he walked in, he heard water running. Sasori let his puppet drop in the corner of the room before he sat on his bed. "Why can't I do anything right?" Sasori asked, putting hs elbows on his knees. A few minutes later, a frowning Deidara walked out of the bathroom in only boxers, his blond hair dripping wet. Sasori opened his mouth to talk, but was cut off by Deidara. "I do not want to hear it, un." The blond growled. Sasori put his hands up in defence. "Whatever you say, brat." The redhead said before he got up to turn the lights off.

The next day, Sasori woke up before Deidara. The redhead smiled and watched the blond's chest move up and down in a rythmic motion. "If only you knew how I felt about you." The puppeteer said, getting up to go take a shower. When the puppet emerged from the bathroom, Deidara was sitting up on his bed, rubbing his head. "I still cannot get over that fact that you have a wooden body, un. I am sorry for last night." Deidara said, making a pouting face. Sasori kept his expressionless face on. "Whatever. Get ready, brat. We have another mission to go on. I am about to get Hiruko ready. Get what you need and be ready in an hour. Meet me at the entrance." Sasori said, then left the blond to himself. "Well, that could have gone better." Deidara said to himself before stripping to get into the shower.
An hour and fifteen minutes later, Deidara showed up at the entrance to the lair. "You are late, brat." The older redhead said. "I don't care, Sasori no Danna." Deidara snapped, glaring at his parter as he entered Hiruko. Inside his puppet, Sasori shrugged. The blond sighed as he shook his head. Why is Danna so mean to me, un? I do my best to impress him, but he doesn't seem to care, un. Deidara thought, glancing to his partner. The sculptor was tired of everyone treating him this way. He was a human being, too. This was the same way his village had treated him before he left. The blond mentally cursed the village for being so unsupportive of his art. Deidara went over the aspects of their mission in his head. They were to go to Konohagakure and make assumptions of what type of security it held. It was a three-day mission, but Deidara knew that his partner would make it into a two-day one. Deidara sighed and looked at his palm, smiling back to the mouth that appeared.
After checking the village, Sasori looked to Deidara, who was sleeping soundly against a tree. Sasori smiled and shook his head. They haven't been partners for long, but Sasori knew that he really liked the brat, even though he knew for sure that the brat didn't like him that way. His older partner, Orochimaru, and him were 'together', in a way. No one knew of their affair, and it stayed that way. Until Hidan walked in on them once, and got Orochimaru kicked out of the Akatsuki for 'raping' poor Sasori. It's not really called 'rape' if you enjoy it. Sasori thought, sitting beside Deidara. The blond was mumbling something that the puppeteer couldn't hear, but he knew that the brat was having a nice dream by the smile on his face. The puppet smiled and moved a piece of hair out of his partner's face before saying, "Maybe, one day, I will have enough courage to tell you how I feel."

"My feet are so tired, un! How far do we have to go?" Deidara whined, glancing at Sasori. The redhead was still inside Hiruko, but was carefully emerging from the shell. "Only a few more minutes, brat, and we will be at the lair. Will you stop complaining?" Sasori growled, giving Deidara a half-lidded glare. Deidara sighed and decided to shut up.
Once inside the lair, Deidara jumped at the chance of taking a shower before the puppet. "Sasori, get Deidara and come into the main room. Leader-sama wants to talk to us about something." Hidan snarled, obviously annoyed by the Leader's request himself. Sasori walked over to the bathroom door and knocked on it. "Deidara! Hurry up! We have to meet in the main room. Leader-sama wants to talk to us about something." Sasori said, leaving the room.
Half an hour later, all of the Akatsuki members were in the main room, their focus on the Leader. "Okay. I know that we are supposed to be an elite group of S-rank missing nin, but that doesn't mean that we can't get to know each other better. Konan, here, has told me a few games that might pull us...closer together. Zetsu, that does not mean in the eating sort of way." Leader-sama said, glaring at the bi-colored member. He nodded his head in shame as everyone else snickered. "As for you all; you are required to play this game. If not, you will be kicked out of the Akatsuki, and turned into the ANBU by your teammate." He explained, smiling. Everyone groaned, including Tobi, who was up for almost everything. "What game does Tobi get to play?" Tobi asked, asking the question everyone was waiting to hear an answer for. After a few moments of silence, Konan smiled and said, "You guys get to play Twister." Everyone looked around to each other. They have never been in a close proximity of each other, except for their teammates.
About an hour later, four mats were sewn together by Kakuzu and placed on the floor. Leader-sama and Konan were going to call out the pairings and watch from the sidelines. After about calling thirty different color and hand pairings, Itachi, Kakuzu, Kisame, and Zetsu were out, watching Hidan, Tobi, Sasori, and Deidara make fools of themselves. "Right hand, blue." Konan called, smiling at her favorite color. Deidara inwardly cursed himself as he had to reach over Sasori's body to reach the blue circle. Hidan and Tobi both laughed when they saw that Deidara was directly above Sasori's body, which was technically in the middle of a backbend. Deidara felt a small blush cover his cheekbones as he took a deep breath. Just...please...no one fall on me... He thought, mentally stabbing Tobi. Then, with a squeal, Tobi slipped and hit Hidan, who fell, pushing into Deidara, who landed on top of Sasori. When Deidara opened his eyes, he noticed that his Danna's lips were on his. After a minute of relizing this, the blond jumped up and said, "I am so sorry, Sasori no Danna." He ran to his room, his heart beating wild. Sasori blushed and thought, What for, brat? That was amazing. He got up and said, "I need to go take a shower." Everyone was still stunned by what happened, and Tobi was unusually silent. Deidara paced in his room. When he kissed his Danna, even on accident, there was this feeling in his stomach, as if it was right. No! But...I don't like my Danna in that way... Deidara thought. Or did he?
