What made you turn from me...

such loss of energy?

 When once..your heart did soar...

every time I stepped foot inside the door.

Now each day my heart does break...

like that of a beggar in dire strait...

to you, I've handed my beauty and youth...

And still you would not see this golden truth.

I have stilled my girlish wondering eye...

and no longer tell, so wild a lie.

Now you no longer have the time...

or into my arms, desire to climb.

How  once again, could your desire be mine?

My body again, your loving shrine?

Or am I forever  to see excuse...

Of how my efforts are of no use?

Of my passion, you  own the deed..

and the fruit from that planted seed.

What will happen when I tire as well...

and crawl out of lonely hell?

Would you still be the loving source...

or will this loveliness, have run it's course?

My heart's contract mayI, have  signed,

but there writ words, small and fine.

On my heart, I will not hang a blackened wreath...

I will not punish it by pain of death...

Are we heading towards vexed incline?

Or once again will you show me love's divine?

Please atleast honestly say...

Of wich path...of wich way.
