This is a poem I wrote when I was 15

I was quite troubled then. This goes out to our youth as well as old... for it applies to many people, I think.

Thank you

I am missing somewhere in my mind.

Somewhere in my soul,

Somewhere dark and quiet.

Lost somewhere out there

Walking in that Zone.

Someone, something is calling me,

drawing me home.

In the midst of my thoughts,

I dont know where I am.

Something lost, something forgotten.

For some reason I know I should,

But I dont give a damn.

I stare straight ahead...

Trying to remember...pushing to know.

Things that happened...

only moments ago.

Days turned to weeks

and months into years.

Watching them watching me...

Cheeks stained with tears.

Changes all around me

and dew turns to frost...

never more moving...

and longing for the lost.

Yet someone is calling me home.

Won't leave me here, won't leave me alone.

Here I sit in fogged awareness...

Hoping for one more day...

But do I care...or...less?
