Yet another poem I found from my not so, so, so, so, so very long ago teen years.
I had a lot of fun when I was younger and I really had no shame.I think that in this poem,(I was 16), I was trying to convey the fact that it doesn't last forever...
I already knew from happenings around me that we should remember the good times before the bad one's outwiegh them.
Cheers,
Charli

Paper and pen

I'm writing again.

Oh no, here we go.

Ride with me,

but not too slow.

Silly games

Playful names

We'll have fun while we last.

Spark a spliff and get a blast.

Let's go

Get on with the show.

Looking for fame

and getting past our shame.

Day after day

the things we say.

We know...we'll do,

Really we have no clue.

On and on,

friends til we're gone

Living life to it's fullest

til start and end have kissed.

Wild child

so, everyone dialed.

Don't know down from up

Just put it in the cup.

'Cause we're alright...

Everything's alright...

We're alright...

Are you alright?
