I was just trying to reflect the desperateness in that moment of the boy.

The time has drifted away

Where I had been.

When it was there.

At its most near,

Where the sun was just setting.

Just flying to the other side,

Leaving the world forever,

Casting the deepest darkness,

Soaking all the life through,

The last drops of water turned ice.

The air filled with coldness.

The blood frozen to its wildest cruelty.

The skin turned blue.

The eyes left to be never dazzled.

A world rotten.

And eating its own flesh.

Hunger thriving vigorously.

And there the skinny ones,

The one with ribs showcasing like ornaments,

Shown for glamour.

The one with the belly bulging out,

For they are filled with shallow wishes.

Of the rice and daal.

Their tastes only in the memories when eyes closed.

The daily life goes away,

And yet time drifts.

One such hungry boy.

With eyse wide and forehead narrowed,

Intense look searching something raw,

Found a red bright apple,

Out in the rubbish from just nowhere,

He suddenly snatches it with those long cunning fingers,

His mouth cracks and teeth just pierces,

The juices rushes and the sound of crushing,

As if the yellowy teeth fighting amongst each other,

The boy thinking simultaneously what a day to live,

Is it really I'm eating or some fantasy dream?

Just questioning himself.

Why the world somehow turned upside down?

Just to gift the heaven in me.

Or is it just some hell enriched with the poison?
