It's just a sad poem about how nothing has any real effect on the percepotions of the grieved.

The Lament

The leaves have begun to fall again,

Another season gone by,

And the moon is waxed full again.

My heart is gray and lost,

Though here the sun shines,

In my world it is covered in frost.

Stars have lost their shine,

Water its musical rushing,

While I can only pine.

The wind can only sigh,

The flowers have no sent,

And there is no BLUE in my sky.

The earth lies still waiting,

Cold and barren,

While I sit here gazing.

The sweet summer berries have gone sour,

No taste can succor,

And I do not have the power.

No relief can I find,

No joy can been shared,

While the one I love is lost for all time.
