My first eureka or you can say the first taste of logic.

One day, when I was in primary school, got an assignment of writing 1 to 100 spelling but I knew up to 20 only. My father was the best person to ask for help. So I asked him, how to write it. But at that time, he was busy with his guests and enjoying his evening tea, which is a daily routine of an army officer. He didn’t reply the first time, so again in a weaker & pleading voice I asked him. He took a frowned deep look at me and gave away the spelling of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 and asked me to complete my assignment. I was too nervous and fearful to ask him again how I will write 21 when he didn’t tell me the spelling. So, I went inside the house grumbling to my favorite corner of my room where no one could find me. I started playing alone but at the back of my mind the assignment and the spellings were dancing, I was worried that how I will complete my assignment. If I am not able to finish what excuse I will give in class or by any chance will I get sufficient time to copy from my friends. These all probabilities looked very dark thin and no solution could be found. Mind was still in pressure and I started mumbling 21, 21, 21 _ _ _ _ _ _. Then after few minutes there was a click and the answer of how to write 21 was unraveled, twenty and one is Twenty One, So without much thought I wrote the spelling of 21 then 22 and so on till 30, which my dad has already thought me. Then I was thinking how to write 31 and all of a sudden everything was clear. ”Eureka!!!!! “  I wrote the spelling of 31 and so on till 100. I completed my assignment in sometime without any obstacle or hindrance. The delight and sense of achievement was like that of an inventor, may be what “Archimedes” felt. At such a small age even writing the spelling of 21 by own felt like a first prize winner. Now I was ready to take any challenge of writing any number spelling , it was all so easy.
