Oh how we women suffer!

All in the name of being a mother.

But oh how wonderful to be just that.

I am waiting, impatiently

this first part of suffering to be over,

for I will then

gladly greet the day.

Each and every morn I will lay quietly still, knowing that

it won’t be long till I’m over that hill.

Oh God here I go again!

A comforting hand gives cool relief

Cold compress upon sweaty forehead

This ain’t all it's cracked up to be,

but we suffer for the sweet end.

In-between are the times we cherish,

,loving every moment.

Until then I’ll suffer this weakness,

for I know it’s worth

Every second until that glorious end.
