How I'd love a second chance
If I could be so free
To play out as a different man
And join their jubilee.
I could be simling wide
With stolen angel wings
To be with brighter gold
No time for smaller things.
---
I fashion up some angel wings
I fly them off a hill
My new wings fan and fail
I lament my selfish will.
But this is my intention!
Too late in life I learned
We can always steal new wings!
And the past we render burned.
Lying on my back now,
Stars melting through a cloud.
The sky is getting darker!
THE SKY IS GOING OUT!
---
I wake up in a hospital
With wings of selfish greed
As one billion medicine men
Obey their selfless creed.
I pray of them to stop!
They treat my words as glass!
I beg them, leave me be!
Let me die with class!
